Faith Based Therapy

If you only carry one thing throughout your entire life, let it be hope. Let it be hope that better things are always ahead. Let it be hope that you can get through even the toughest of times. Let it be hope that you are stronger than any challenge that comes your way. Let it be hope that you are exactly where you are meant to be right now, and that you are on the path to where you are meant to be...Because during these times, hope will be the very thing that carries you through.

For those of you seeking to obtain Counseling from a Christian Therapist, I gladly offer it. I understand that faith plays an important part in searching for the right therapist, especially one who shares the same beliefs. If you would prefer to have your therapy sessions centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we can discuss what that might look like for you personally. I have been trained specifically in integrating psychology and Christianity. As a Christian, my values and work are informed by my faith. I strongly depend on the Holy Spirit and my personal time with the Lord to guide me into wisdom and truth. What does this look like in my line of work with kids? Having worked with kiddos in Christian settings, I have seen first-hand that we are dealing with issues related to the heart. Often times the behavior and attitude children express lies with what is going on deep down in their hearts. When we meet the core of the heart, we begin to see where the problem lies rather than focusing solely on the behavior itself. I never turn anyone away due to beliefs that do not align with mine, nor do I impose my beliefs onto you. You do not have to be Christian in order to participate in Faith-Based Counseling.
